The 15 Most-Graded Pokémon Cards Right Now (Summer 2026 Data)

What collectors grade is one of the most honest signals in the hobby — it's what people are actually pulling, buying and betting on, with money attached. Here are the 15 most-graded cards on TCGrader over the last 90 days, with the average grade each is achieving.

The list

  1. Mega Charizard X ex — Phantasmal Flames (168 graded, avg 8.45). The chase card of the summer, and it's not close. Notably, its average grade is on the low side for a modern chase — Phantasmal Flames centering has been inconsistent.
  2. Mega Greninja ex — Chaos Rising (135 graded, avg 8.57). The 116/086 has its own search demand and a strong following. See our full card spotlight.
  3. Mega Gengar ex — Ascended Heroes (128 graded, avg 8.62).
  4. Pikachu ex — Ascended Heroes (81 graded, avg 8.88). Grading beautifully — one of the safest 9.5+ bets on this list.
  5. Mega Dragonite ex — Ascended Heroes (79 graded, avg 8.72).
  6. Charizard — Base Set (56 graded, avg 6.07). The evergreen. The only vintage card in the top 10, and the average grade shows what 27-year-old cardboard really looks like.
  7. Mega Charizard Y ex — Ascended Heroes (55 graded, avg 8.37).
  8. Mega Zygarde ex — Perfect Order (52 graded, avg 8.13). The lowest modern average on the list — inspect edges before submitting.
  9. Meowth ex — Perfect Order (52 graded, avg 8.71).
  10. Psyduck — Ascended Heroes (50 graded, avg 8.88).
  11. Clefairy — Perfect Order (47 graded, avg 8.94). Quietly the best-conditioned card in the top 15.
  12. Umbreon ex — Prismatic Evolutions (44 graded, avg 8.87). The Eeveelution premium is alive and well.
  13. Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex — Destined Rivals (41 graded, avg 8.83).
  14. Mew ex — Paldean Fates (38 graded, avg 8.53).
  15. Pikachu ex — Surging Sparks (36 graded, avg 8.44).

What the data says

Ascended Heroes is the set of the summer. Four cards in the top 15, and 638 total cards graded from the set in 90 days — more than any other set. Its 8.72 set average also makes it kind to graders.

Mega evolution mania is real. Seven of the top 15 are Mega ex cards across Phantasmal Flames, Chaos Rising, Ascended Heroes, Perfect Order and Mega Evolution. If you're opening these sets, the Megas are what the market is grading.

High volume doesn't mean high grades. The most-graded card (Mega Charizard X ex) has one of the weaker averages at 8.45. Popularity drives submissions of every copy pulled, pristine or not — don't let hype talk you into submitting a copy that pre-grades below 9.

Base Set Charizard never leaves. Fifty-six copies graded in 90 days, averaging 6.07 — and still worth grading at that level, because vintage value doesn't need a gem grade.

Before you grade yours

Every average above came from AI grading photos in seconds. If you're holding any card on this list, run it through TCGrader first and see whether your copy beats the average before you pay a grading company fee. Then check whether it's worth grading at all at that estimate.
